DIGITAL NOMADS

Walk the ways of the true nomads, get off the highways and outside the urban hustle, and find at least for a moment the new view of life and time in the oasis of the preserved natural pace and rhythm.

The area of Ravni Kotari, with its sunny fields and spacious estates, offers a chance to become a true nomad, and not just transfer from one city hustle to another. Traditional stone estates, as well as the new buildings, are equipped with everything you need for your office, whether in a room, a cellar, by the pool, in the orchard or vineyard or under the trees with the birdsongs. Bloggers have the chance to tell the stories yet untold and at the same time enjoy the traditions and manifestations from the time that's passing by. From here you can easily visit the three nature parks, five national parks, around ten historical bigger and smaller towns, and a series of entries on UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Be a nomad in the area that was largely built on the ruins of the wars and empires by the cattle-farming-, merchant-, and war-nomads. Walk the same ways as the Romans, the Carolingians, the Venetians, the Byzantines, the Ottomans, merchants, pilgrims and soldiers had walked through the centuries and where the East and the West, and the North and the South of Europe and the Levant had met and parted.

Be a nomad in the Maškovića Han, 'han' being a Turkish name for the place that the Persians called caravanserai, a place where the caravans had rested, i.e. nomads, just like you. It was founded in 1644 as a caravanserai, or a place for travellers' rest, and so far, with its magical rooms, it has had the same purpose. You will get the chance to become a part of a 350-year-old tradition and to travel not just through various landscapes, but also through time.
