Family Farm Zagorac Milenko
On the rugged Ravnokotar area, at the foot of the remains of the former medieval fortress Mons Tini, OPG Zagorac Milenko is engaged in the cultivation of different varieties of olives, which yield between 15 and 30 tons and yield 2,000 to 4,000 liters of olive oil per year. Their ecological extra virgin olive oil was created by combining oblica, leccino, frantoio, pendolino, ascolana, carolea and coratina. Their label, whose design represents a multiplied motif present on Neolithic ceramics excavated in the area of Tinj, known as Impresso Cardium, also testifies to their rootedness in tradition and the indigenous rural area. They proudly point out that their oil was awarded at Zadar Olive Days, Split Olives, Nadin Youth Wine and Oil Tasting and the title of vice-champion at Noćnjak. The fruit of a poor land, the fruit of a carefully nurtured olive tree planted in crushed Dalmatian stone is stored at an ideal temperature of 14 to 18 degrees in the Tasting Room where, in addition to the oil, it is possible to try other products of their OPG.
